Two Factor Authentication

❗This requires a registered TTLock account

  • Download the TTLock application on Android or iOS devices
  • Access the TTLock Web System on desktop here

❗Please note: this feature is not recommended and is not typically used for individual or public access doors in hotels, motels, or resorts.

Steps to enable two-factor authentication

  1. Select the lock you want to configure, then tap Settings.

  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication for the selected lock.

  3. When a code is entered or the lock is remotely unlocked, the lock will announce “Please insert second administrator.”

  4. A second administrator credential is required to complete the unlock.

If the lock unexpectedly requests a second administrator

  • This means Two-Factor Authentication is enabled for that lock.

  • Turn off Two-Factor Authentication in the lock settings to resolve the issue.
